Kitchen Design & Construction Guide by McClarty Constructions

This programme is used by our cabinet maker, it bring your ideas and plans that you have discussed into reality.  This will be emailed through to you after the consultation along with the quote.

Initial Meeting:

Our in-house Cabinet maker will arrange to meet with you at your house to measure up and discuss your ideas and what options are available for layout, colours and finishes etc.

Quote & 3D Cad Drawing:

This programme is used by our cabinet maker, it bring your ideas and plans that you have discussed into reality.  This will be emailed through to you after the consultation along with the quote.

Contract:

Following the final approved kitchen quote, we will provide you with a contract to complete and sign. The contract will provide all information in relation to your kitchen renovation. A start date will then be decided and scheduled in.

Construction Begins:

The general process will follow and the time for completion is dependent on the complexity of the design:Demolition and removal of old kitchen.

  • Quote and 3d drawing emailed through to the customer
  • kitchen product and final layouts confirmed
  • Products are ordered and in-house construction begins
  • Construction timelines are between 1-2 weeks before installation
  • Delivery of new kitchen
  • Same day removal of old kitchen
  • Installation of kitchen usually takes 2 days
  • Other trades such as plumbing, electrical etc usually takes an extra 2 days on top of installation

Practical Completion:

Finally, your time to enjoy your new Kitchen! Prior to handover, we will meet with you to ensure that you are completely satisfied with the end product.

Payment:

A deposit will be required at the time the contract is signed and start date is scheduled. The remainder will be payable as per the progress payment schedule that is provided to you in the contract.

Maintenance Period:

There is a 6 month defect maintenance period from practical completion.
