Kitchens

McClarty Constructions are now specializing in solid surfaces

Our solid surfaces are nonporous which prevents bacteria, mould, staining and most of the problems inherent in natural stone. Solid surface sinks can be joined to the countertop surface with no gaps, which eliminates areas for water to collect and bacteria to grow.

Should the material become scratched or broken, solid surface can, in most cases, be repaired quickly apart from materials such as granite.

Solid surfaces are available in a range of colours.

We would like to welcome Brett Berry to the kitchen Division

Some of Brett’s testimonials from previous jobs!

Throughout our major kitchen renovation, Bret’s attention to detail and workmanship were exceptional. During the design process, he asked questions and offered ideas to ensure the design and product selection matched our needs.

Bret spent a significant amount of time with us on getting the design right and this was reflected in the fact that the installation went so smoothly.

Kylie Vitale & John Kennedy

I was given expert advice on the design and layout of the kitchen to suit the space and was able to view technical drawings before my final decision.  I had some ideas about the colour scheme however, samples of colours and materials shown to me really made my decision much easier. Particular requests like lots of large draws were included with no problem.

I was very impressed at how quickly my kitchen was built and the proficiency with which it was installed. I must say that the final product looked even better than I expected.

My friends and family are really impressed by my kitchen and the quality of the work.

The latest, most popular look in kitchens

The latest, most popular look in kitchens is the high gloss unit. It’s available in many colour options and offers a very simple, clean look. White and cream remain the most popular colours: totalling a whopping 62% of the people surveyed

Grainy wood finishes have been a recent trend and Cherry is rising in popularity, along with more unusual woods, including Applewood, Pearwood and bamboo!

Simple stainless steel handles enhance the effect and make a compact kitchen look larger. If you want it to look even more modern we can even fit the cupboard without handles..just open with a simple push, so handles are no longer needed!

Kitchen – the most important room

Did you know the kitchen has become the most important room of the home?

Making sure your design fits your family’s lifestyle is a must! Long ago, it was primarily the place for cooking/storing food, however in today’s homes, it is the gathering place. It has become the central focal point of the home. More money is spent on the kitchen than any other room of the home!
